November 1st, 2005 – Palace Hotel, San Francisco – Bill Gates discusses about the upcoming Microsoft products: Windows Live, Office Live and Xbox Live.

Microsoft Live will be a collection of services, all free. These services are based on a “People Network” (Windows Live Messenger), a “Search Network” (MSN Search) and an “Ad Network” (MSN adCenter).

Windows Live Messenger is the new MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger. The Search Network is the MSN search engine, and it is accessible through Live.com and finally the Ad Network is the newly launched MSN adCenter (currently in Beta).
